Localization of Unknown Primary

A 38 year old female with a positive CT showing axillary lymph nodes and no known primary. Breast cancer was strongly suspected but a mammogram showed dense breasts with no apparent tumor.

PET showed multiple axillary nodes plus the primary right breast malignancy. PET was used to stage properly stage the patient and to locate (Diagnose) the primary.
